This solar module comes with a 20 year manufacturer's limited warranty. It is also marine rated, making it suitable for use on sailboats and other marine applications.

The XC85s is XC3i’s high efficiency module. Thanks to its optimum size it is easy to handle and specifically dedicated to large scale off grid applications.

The XC85 module uses highly efficient, reliable single-crystal solar cell technology. Encapsulation beneath high transmission tempered glass is accomplished using an advanced, UV resistant thermal setting plastic. The encapsulant, ethylene vinyl acetate, cushions the solar cells within the laminate and protect the cells from etching. The rear surface of the module is completely sealed from moisture and mechanical damage by a continuous high strength polymer sheet.

The XC85 is using a reinforced transparent anodised aluminium frame, designed to meet XC3i’s High Quality Standards for corrosion resistance. With a tolerance of +/-5%, the XC85 module ensures more power in mutimodule installations.
